Last week the Juventus Academy Training Camp took place in Malta at the Luxol St. Andrew’s football grounds. Four Italian Champions brought the “Juventus Experience” closer to 120 local young football players.
The Juventus Academy training camp aims to deliver a memorable experience for the children that go beyond technical skills and tactics. The “Juventus Way” focuses on individual initiative and collective hard work, as well as promoting values of bravery and teamwork.
Giuseppe Cedro, the Head of Juventus Training Experience project for the past three years, alongside Pierfilippo Zanichelli, Antonio Delfino, Nicolo Sarti, and three Juventus Academy Coaches traveled to Malta for the five-day training camp.
“We are honored and proud to be part of such an initiative. We are strong supporters of sport and active lifestyle and hope that this training camp will motivate youngsters to dream big.” – said Robert Dowling at the closing ceremony on Friday as a representative of Singular, one of the companies who supported the event. Among the sponsors were also Jeep, VisitMalta, Elmo, Corinthia, and Anchovy which have been continuous supporters of nurturing culture for sports.
The children will be continuing their future football endeavors equipped with expert-level football tricks, the recognizable black and white Juventus kit, and once in a lifetime experience.
